Two teachers leading an assembly

Today, our K-5 students gathered for our very first monthly Leadership Assembly! Held on early release days, these assemblies bring our whole school family together to celebrate success, build community, and live out our school mission: Progressing every day, each child, every way.

During the assembly, students learned key expectations for gathering as a school community, We also introduced The 7 Habits, sharing how students can earn "Leader in Me" stickers and even be recognized as a Leader of the Month for showing great leadership.

To top it all off, we introduced a fun new tradition: Pig Races! Each month, the class in each grade level with the highest attendance will earn a spot in the official pig race.

We wrapped up our time together by singing our school song. We are so proud of our students for modeling wonderful leadership today and look forward to seeing student leaders help take the stage in future assemblies!
