5th graders dissecting owl pellets
5th grade camp has been in full swing here at Progress South! Earlier this week the students got to watch a presentation and meet some reptiles face to face thanks to the Teason family. Then the Wild Bird Sanctuary arrived with some of the birds of prey.

The kids have been having a blast trying their hand at archery, a ropes course, geocaching, and charcoal art. They’ve also experienced dissecting owl pellets and making molds of animal tracks.

It’s been a warm week, but the camp songs, games, and activities will continue on through today.
